As a state-of-the-art production company, Burg Design is aware of its responsibility to the environment. For this reason, the company also does more in terms of sustainability than is legally required. Our own active environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001, a health and safety management system in accordance with ISO 45001 and numerous other measures protect the sustainable health of the company, our employees and, subsequently, our entire environment.

At Burg Design, we see it as our responsibility to continuously optimize the life cycle of our products from the first idea, which is often inspired by nature, to environmentally friendly production and up to sustainable recycling. For this purpose, we use green energy wherever possible, which is largely generated from our own photovoltaic systems.

Burg Design's research and development department has not only made a decisive contribution to the market leadership in recent years, but is also constantly developing new, more environmentally friendly materials and processes. The partial switch to recyclates, sustainable films and granulates or process optimization through the use of self-made machine tools are just some of the great achievements.

Generating electricity with the power of the sun

Burg Design relies on green energy, which is generated by its own photovoltaic system. With an average output of 134 kWp and an annual yield of 110,000 kWh, an average of up to 30 t of CO₂ can be saved annually.
